Book DashBook Dash organises events where teams of professional writers, illustrators and designers come together to create new African storybooks.

Since the first event in May 2014 over 25 children's books have been created this way.

Anyone can freely translate and distribute these Book Dash books under a Creative Commons Attribution licence. This means that Book Dash helps to get books into the hands of children in a cheap and effective way.

To support Book Dash the beautiful, printed books can be bought online, please click here.

The Digital Classroom offers the Book Dash books to download below. For Vodacom subscribers this content is zero-rated, so no data charges apply.
